Evelyn was a cheerful and patient child who was the apple of her mother's (Effie) eye and the light in her grandfather's (Seuel) world. She lived her childhood days in Haverhill, MA. laughing and playing with her sisters. She spent some time in New York briefly, but spent almost her entire life in Haverhill.
